Most people spend at least 8-12 hours in the office, five days a week. That is more than the time you spend at home, so we find ourselves find convenient foods more appealing. It is so easy to indulge in the office vending machine or rush to the restaurant near your office for lunch or snack.

However, junk food can be detrimental to both your physical and mental health. Consider carrying your own food and snacks to make sure you are eating healthy. Healthy eating will improve your mental health.

Try to take as much time off during the day as you can. When you are depressed, forcing yourself to work will only make it worse. You need to take care of your mental health even when you have tight deadlines to reach.

Taking breaks keeps you productive by keeping you focused and helping you retain information. It will also keep you from getting frustrated with work. Breaks will make you more effective and happier.
